Networking & Wireless
Structured cabling, Wi-Fi infrastructure design and point-to-point wireless links.
Structured cabling, Wi-Fi infrastructure design and point-to-point wireless links across Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough — Cat6 and fibre termination-ready cabling, network and wireless infrastructure design and installation, rack builds and tidy-ups, plus MATV/SMATV signal distribution for multi-unit and commercial sites.
This work draws on structured cabling, MATV distribution and NILES control systems training (Strawberry Sound, 2008), carried through into current Cat6/fibre cabling and Wi-Fi deployment work: access point placement that actually covers the site rather than a single router in a cupboard, point-to-point wireless links where running cable isn’t practical, and rack builds that are labelled and tidy rather than a tangle behind a door.
What’s included
Jobs range from a single rack tidy-up or a Wi-Fi coverage fix through to a full structured cabling rollout for a new commercial fit-out, with MATV/SMATV distribution specified where a site needs one signal feed shared cleanly across multiple outlets or units.
Every job is carried out with owned test equipment, and a written job hazard analysis and site induction are completed before work starts on any site. New installs, network and Wi-Fi upgrades, and fault-finding on cabling or wireless infrastructure installed by others are all within scope — get in touch to talk through what a site needs.
