Door and gate access systems designed, installed and commissioned across Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough — keypad, fob and card systems, door controllers and gate automation integration, drawn from hands-on AV, security and IT install experience including time as co-owner/operator of Av Architects Ltd (2017–2023) on commercial, residential and industrial sites.

Scope covers the full system: door controller wiring and configuration, keypad, fob and card reader installation, and integration with gate automation hardware so vehicle and pedestrian access are controlled from the one system. Every job is commissioned properly before handover — not just powered on and left — with the system tested against how the site actually needs to be used, whether that’s a single door, a multi-door commercial fit-out, or a gated residential or industrial entrance.

Handover and support

Handover documentation is provided with every completed job, so the client (or their facilities team) has a clear record of what was installed, how it’s configured and how to manage it going forward, rather than being left to work it out from the hardware alone.

Work is carried out with owned test equipment and access gear, and a written job hazard analysis and site induction are completed before work starts on any site. New installs, upgrades to existing access control hardware, and fault-finding on systems installed by others are all within scope — get in touch to discuss what a site needs.
